LUN8 (루네이트) is an eight-member boy group under Fantagio that made their debut on June 15, 2023 with a mini album titled Continue?.

The group name holds the meaning of "eight boys who embrace the moonlight".[1]

History[]

Pre-debut[]

On March 22, 2023, Fantagio announced through OSEN that they plan to debut a new boy group in the first half of the year, and that the exact date is yet to be confirmed.[2]

On April 1, a logo motion clip was released by the company, unveiling the group's name as LUN8. The group's SNS accounts were also launched that day.[3]

On April 3, Ian was unveiled as the first member of the group,[4] followed by Jun Woo on April 4,[5] Takuma on April 5,[6] Jin Su on April 6,[7] Eun Seop on April 7,[8] Chael on April 10,[9] Ji Eun Ho on April 11,[10] and Do Hyun on April 12.[11]

2023: Debut with Continue? and first sub-unit LUN8wave[]

On May 22, it was announced that the group would make their debut with a mini album titled Continue? on June 15.[12]

On November 15, it was announced that the group will debut their first sub-unit LUN8wave on November 22 with the digital single "Playground".[13]

2024: Buff, Japanese debut with "Evergreen"[]

On February 13, it was announced that LUN8 will release their second mini album Buff on March 13[14]. "Pastel" was pre-released on February 19.

On May 10, LUN8 announced that they will be making their Japanese debut with the single "Evergreen" on June 19.[15] "My Tune" was pre-released on June 7.
